Standard stringer for all blanks up to 8 foot is a single 3mm ( 0.125 inch ) high density PVC foam, color black. For blanks longer than 8 foot, the stringer is a 6mm ( 0.25 inch ) high density PVC foam, color black.

These stringers are stronger than the same width bass wood stringer. Although not as stiff as the wood stringer, a surfboard with a PVC stringer will flex the same as a board with a same size wood stringer, given that each are shaped and laminated identically.

For blanks 8 ft. or less; purple, yellow, green, blue, red, white or grey may be substituted at additional cost.
